Well, if it's a dead port, there's no use in checking my patch in, is there?
I simply walked through all ports, noted the cases where descriptions were
missing and then tried to contact the original authors to get the
descriptions.

Is there anywhere a list of dead ports? If not, I'd suggest we create one,
say as config/README.ports to save others needless efforts.
