Patches to allow operation on native OS/390 systems.

Hello:

  These patches make corrections to the IBM OS/390 Unix Systems Services
(USS), formerly called OpenEdition, port of the compiler to allow native
compilation.

 Also, several corrections to the MD files and placement of case vectors in
the data CSECT.

  There are two attachments:

1. The ChangeLog entries.
2. The diffs generated using the "cvs diff -c3p" command.
