Hmm, okay, I'd thought otherwise, but wasn't really sure.  I think
you're probably right.

Jeff, what do you think?  The patch is simple enough (one line, plus
docs).

(It isn't *quite* a Y2K compliance issue per se, because any code
using IDATE is likely to be non-compliant regardless of whether
it sees 100 or 0 in the year field as of 2000.  But I might sleep
a bit better knowing this fix was in the field longer, before
2000-01-01, than egcs 1.2 will be, by putting it into 1.1.2.)
