No, it was not lost.  The original patch had unrelated gunk in it.  I asked
you to resubmit the corrected patch, which you did not do.  Thus the patch
was never installed.

When a reviewer asks you to make changes that means the patch as it stands is
not acceptable.  For the patch to become acceptable you either need to update
it according to the comments from the reviewer, or you have to convince the
reviewer that your patch is correct as-is.  Either way it is your 
to take the next step.  If you never take the next step, then the patch never
gets installed.
