Patch sent and installed on the main branch.
Now you have two to choose from for the 2.95 branch.
If there are any files that contain comments of the form:

    /*
    (*mumble)(stuff)
    */

that would cause a file to be bypassed when it needed to be
processed, then you must use Kaveh's patch.  I really doubt
that there would be such a file, but I did not expect
the problem that Kaveh found either :-).  So, it is safer
to use Kaveh's patch, but my patch is likely safe too.
