mkstemps is a valid function

Your gcc/ is bogus.  You shouldn't have references to mkstemps,
choose-temp, or pexecute.

The removal of that code was the change that you accidentally reverted when
installing one of Zack's patches.

I don't know how that got botched in your local tree, but you need to fix
it before you accidentally undo those changes again ;-)

The libiberty/ changes are fine.
