You can bet that I'm throwing my heavy templated stuff at this patch
as of this writing. ;-)

Are there any specific options you would like us to test most, like
specific optimization levels or frontend flags?

What's your guess concerning the effects your rewrite will have
concerning memory consumption and compile time?
