64 bit GCC failing

I'm sure it's a bug.  GCC 4.1.2 is from February 13, 2007.  We can't do
very much about it now.

Do you actually need to build a 64-bit-hosted version of this compiler?  The
32-bit-hosted version should work on a 64-bit host.
