build issue for gcc-4.8.5 on ubuntu 16.04

Hi All,

I am trying to build gcc-4.8.5 on ubuntu16.04. This os already has gcc 5.4
which I am using to build gcc-4.8.5, but after running for 15 minutes, it's
throwing an error - 
 msgfmt:
/home/gcc/gcc-4.8.5.build/powerpc64le-linux-gnu/libstdc++-v3/src/.libs/libstdc++.so.6:
version `CXXABI_1.3.8' not found (required by
/usr/lib/powerpc64le-linux-gnu/libicuuc.so.55).
can any one help me out to resolve this issue.
