GCC 6.1 compilation fails on CentOS 7.2 - conflicting/ambiguous definitions

Hello,
No need to respond—I managed to fix the problem.
For people from the future: The solution was to specify the --with-gmp,
--with-mpfr, and --with-mpc configure flags in addition to setting
LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Tweaking the CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS/LDFLAGS/LD_LIBRARY_PATH
environment variables is not enough on its own.
(Note: I know that installing GMP, MPFR, and MPC in nonstandard
locations is bad, but my system is ancient and I don’t have root
access.)
Also apologies that my email client mangled the last message…here’s
hoping that it’s fixed this time.
