Fwd: Problem with Cross Compiler for V850

Hi,

I am a noob in the field of cross compiling. I intend to compile a
code with gcc for a v850 target. For this purpose, I am using a
provided cross-compiler, downloaded from
http://www.ovpworld.org/dlp/?action=dl&dl_id=23058&site=dlp.OVPworld.org
.

The problem is that "v850-elf-gcc" does not recognize an option which
I need at linking stage.(Namely, "-Ttext" option which is used for
setting the start of Text section).

So, I would be glad if you could tell me where the problem is or
suggest any alternative solutions.
