Specify location of glibc libraries

I'm attempting to compile gcc --with-sysroot. I've installed the linux
headers and compiled and installed binutils and glibc for this
sysroot. binutils is installed in $sysroot/opt/xbinutils and glibc is
installed in $sysroot/opt/xglibc. I've specified the location of
binutils using --with-build-time-tools. I've specified the location of
the glibc headers using --with-native-system-header-dir. How do I
specify the location of the glibc libraries? I'm looking for something
like --with-native-system-lib-dir. When building libgcc_s.so, I'm
getting the error cannot find crti.o: No such file or directory (see
below).
