A question about: http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Local-Reg-Vars.html Before I update this doc page, can anyone think of any plausible and supported use for Local Reg Vars *besides* Extended asm parameters? After you read all the things on that page that you can't do, Extended asm parameters appears to be the only thing left. True? dw
