Compiling libgcj Archives

So, the right thing to do is rebuild GCC.

This error message:

configure: error: in `/tmp/gcc-output/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/libgomp':
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

... says that the C compiler installed does not work.

You may need to use --disable-multilib.

But have a look at config.log to see the problem.
