hehehe.. good to know.. I just went into the INSTALL dir and read the 
doc that is in there.. and that doc doesn't say a word about the easier 
and new ways of compiling.. ;-)

In any case, now thanks to Paul's and your help I'm building without 
errors for at least 15 minutes.. hopefully till the build is complete. :-D
