gcc-3.4.6 installation on RHEL

Hi,

   Good Morning. I am trying to install gcc-3.4.6.tar.gz on RHEL6
which has gcc 4.4.2 already installed. Here are the steps followed.

1.       Downloaded gcc-3.4.6.tar.gz

2.       tar -zxvf gcc-3.4.6.tar.gz

3.       Navigated to gcc-3.4.6

4.       Executed below command
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/gcc3463
--mandir=/usr/local/gcc3463/man --infodir=/usr/local/gcc3463/info

Next executed this command
make boostrap


also tried with only make.

So please do help me on how to install the gcc 3.4.6 on RHEL6.

Any help would be appreciated
