Help needed in adding a library function in gcc

Hello,

I tried configuring gcc with these options :
  --with-stage1-libs=-ldump --with-boot-libs=-ldump
I have copied libdump.a in /usr/local/lib.

But it is still giving the same error.
Do I need to modify Makefile? Are there any other options to be set 
during configure?
