I need to install gcc 3.0.1

I need to install gcc 3.0.1 on a machine which currently has RHEL  
5.2.1, and subsequently gcc 4.1.2 (I think) installed on it.

How do I do this?  Is there a readme on the gcc.gnu.org site?  I  
haven't found one yet.

I downloaded the source gcc-3.0.1.tar.bz2, from  
http://fileboar.com/gcc/old-releases/gcc-3/, but I assume there are  
other dependencies.  How can I determine the dependencies?  The  
machine I am installing this on does not have access to the internet  
so I want to make sure I download all packages the first time 'round.
