Odd. Is LC_MESSAGES set in the environment?

Hello,

yes LC_MESSAGES is set in the .bash_profile to en_US.UTF-8
I even set all LC env var and LANG env var to en_US.UTF-8 in
/etc/sysconfig/i18n
but I still have errors in french

so I modify the country (United State) and the langauge (english) in
System/Preferences/Regional Setting using the Graphical Interface of my mandriva
2010 distribution
and now I have all errors in english ;)

thanks

Asma
