RO data section creation

Hello experts,
        I am working on new working on new risc machine. For array
declaration I need a ro data section to be created. But it is not getting
created. Data section is normally created for processors which support
multiple load and store instructions. The processor I am working supports
multiple load and store instructions. Please help me regarding this.
