Building 64-bit GCC

[Vardhan, Sundara (GE Infra, Energy)]

Hi All

I am required to build a 64-bit GCC on AIX. I recently downloaded and
successully compiled gcc 4.4.3 but I think the default build is 32-bit.
So how do I build a 64-bit gcc as we plan to compile 64-bit
applications. Any help, pointer or advice will be greatly appreciated.
