Just reading over your mail again i reckon you could probably add some code the language front-end your working with to parse for these "tokens" in the comments and generate some GENERIC to do something you want would be a way to go but i am not sure what you would want to do and this would keep you away from the pain of dwarf and backend portable etc... --Phil
