gcc fails to build on Solaris 5.10

As per your suggestion, I changed the configure options to include
--without-gnu-ld --with-ld=/usr/sfw/bin/gld

It successfully completed "make bootstrap". I will still submit the bug
report.

This looks like a bug.  Please open a bug report.  See
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html .  Thanks.

It will mostly work if you use the GNU linker, but it ought to work with
the native linker.
