gcc-g++-4.3.2.tar.gz

Hi,

I am trying to get the latest version of gcc-g++ compiler.  I 
downloaded gcc-g++-4.3.2.tar.gz.  I want to use this compiler as a 
user to compile C and C++ programs.  I uncompressed it in directory 
/opt/gcc-4.3.2.   However, the configure script is not in any 
directory. My question is do I have the correct tar file to do 
so.  It not, can you point me into the right direction. I am unable 
to install GCC: configuration
