Runtime issue

[Vardhan, Sundara (GE Infra, Energy)]

Hi All

I have compiled a binary using gcc 4.2.3 on a SPARC/Solaris 10 machine.
Every time I run this program, it dumps core and upon checking the core,
the error line is :

t@1 (l@1) program terminated by signal BUS (invalid address alignment)

Any idea what this is. I checked the binary for any 64-bit libraries
that got linked. I could not find one. I would very much appreciate your
help.
