building gcc-4.3.0 on SunOS/solaris

Has anyone been able to build gcc-4.3.0 on SunOS machines?

I have been able to get gcc-4.3.0 to build on other architectures,
but am not having any luck on

sparc-sun-solaris2.8  (sparcv9)
i386-pc-solaris2.10  (really x86_64)

I have built gcc-4.2.3 on these machines with no problems.

Would a kind person who has successfully built gcc-4.3.0 please
tell me what bootstrap compiler they used and also share
their configure parameters?
