Building GCC 4.2.0 fails on Linux x86-64

I did use a seperate directory for building. The path appearing in the
message I provided (/home/alexx/tmp/gcc-build/) is my build directory
while the source resides in /home/alexx/tmp/gcc-4.2.0/.
