Compilation error in gcc

Hi Pramod,
                 But i didnt use make menuconfig i used
../gcc-4.0.3/configure --prefix=/usr \
    --libexecdir=/usr/lib --enable-shared \
    --enable-threads=posix --enable-__cxa_atexit \
    --enable-clocale=gnu --enable-languages=c,c++

then i used just make without any options

as specified in the linux from scratch and i am not cross compiling i
am developing a lfs system for my x86 processor which is basically a
AMD athlon 32 bit.
