C statements in assembler listing

Hello

My intention is to compile a C-file. Afterwards I would like to see how 
the C-code has been translated into assembler.
>From other compilers I know there are compiler options that include the 
C-code as comment in the generated assembler file. Is there such an option 
or another way to get a mixed display of C-code and generated assembler 
code with GCC.
