inverse error function

Hi

Hopefully this is the right place to ask. If not, my
apologies for that.
I've just spent 2 hours looking for the inverse error
function in the built-in functions of the gnu
compiler.
I can't seem to find it. Is there a reason for that,
or am I overlooking anything?
