g++ on 64 bit Solaris 5

Hi,
  I'm having gcc-3.2.2 on my solaris machine. My
Solaris machine is 64 bit. 
While building an application, I got the following
error. 
"error: 64 bit support not available for g++ yet"
  Does a 64 bit OS supports the operation of gcc to
build applications? If yes are there any special
Libraries required, if yes which?
   Please help me out.
