G++ device driver on AIX

Hi,

I am attempting to write a device driver on AIX 5.3 using c++.  xlC  
appears to have problems so I am going to try gcc/g++.  If anyone has  
done this before or has any help, advice, etc, I would appreciate  
corresponding with them.
