GCC/Linux to produce exe files for Windows

Hi,

 I would like to compile a C program on GCC/Linux, and would like
 GCC to produce an executable file for Windows (no Cygwin). Is that 
possible?

 My program is a pure C program and doesn't make use of any sort of GUI,
 that is, it's a console application.
