gcc 3.0.2 and solaris

Hi,
I try build a example of Pro*C and when I build with
gcc I have the next error: 
conecta.c:312:1: warning: no newline at end of file
ld: fatal: file
/opt/app/oracle/9.2.0/lib/libclntsh.so: wrong ELF
class: ELFCLASS64
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written
to conecta
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

My machine is: 
SunOS MAQUINA 5.8 Generic_117350-20 sun4u sparc
SUNW,Ultra-250

I think (but I don't sure) the problem is this machine
is 64bits but I don't know if I have type some option
in gcc command.
