Hey all. I'm trying to build a gcc cross compiler with the host being
Linux on x86 and the target being Linux on alpha. I've built binutils
fine and have it in place. I'm configuring gcc as such:
../configure --prefix=/tools --libexecdir=/tools/lib
--with-local-prefix=/tools --disable-nls --enable-shared
--enable-languages=c --target=alphapca56-unknown-linux-gnu
which produces this:
loading cache ./config.cache

checking target system type... alphapca56-unknown-linux-gnu
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking for a BSD compatible install... (cached) /usr/bin/install -c
*** This configuration is not supported in the following
subdirectories:
target-libstdc++-v3 target-libf2c target-libffi target-boehm-gc
target-zlib target-libjava zlib fastjar target-libobjc
(Any other directories should still work fine.)

Anyone seen this, or have an idea on how to fix it?
