Can't build shared or dynamic libraries on Mac OS X

Hello,

at least for trivial examples (haven't tried anything
big), the command line you specify works for me using
Apple's August '03 Devtools, and FSF gcc 3.3.1 or 3.4
(cvs). I do see your error with gcc 3.2.3, it appears
that -dynamiclib is interpreted to mean dump internal
data. However, according to the documentation, that
version didn't support -dynamiclib anyway. Are you
positive the gcc you used is gcc 3.3.x? Can you send
the output given when you add -v to the command line?
