"undefined symbols" error for the mathematic fuctions

Dear gcc-helper,

I tried to compile C codes with gcc on Sparc-Sun-Solaris-2.8.
It returned "undefined symbols" error for the mathematic fuctions, such as
sin, con, sqrt.

I included header <math.h> in code. I think it could not find some libraries
it needed.

I would realy appreciate if you could tell me how to make it work.
