Hello,
I'm trying to bootstrap (gcc_3_2_release) GCC on IRIX 6.5 using the native C compiler.
During the configuration step:
$srcdir/configure --disable-multilib --prefix=$objdir --program-prefix=app
(with srcdir, objdir appropriately set).
I see:
"checking for ssize_t... no"
CC has been set to 'cc -n32 -mips3'
I get the following error during the bootstrap:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
cc-1084 cc: ERROR File = /usr/include/stdio.h, Line = 53
The indicated declaration has an invalid combination of type specifiers.
typedef int ssize_t;
^
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there something that I'm doing wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Anmol Paralkar.
