libstdc++-v3 bulid probelms with gcc-3.3-20030714

[Mike Ruff]

I've sent LLeeweLLyn the log files off list...

I've repeated the failure on Solaris8...

I also tried bash on RH7.2, but the failure is
the same... It is almost like the configure.target
is not being run...

I'll attache the logs here too...
