GCC3.2.1 - /usr/include/bits/mathcalls.h:310: parse error before `double'

Anyone able to help me figure out why this is happening? I have a pretty
big C++ project written by someone else that compiles perfectly on GCC
2.95.?? from RedHat 6.2, but getting it to run on a recent GCC is
proving to be quite a big problem. Any help is appreciated.
