ARM target and EABI version

Hi

I've been tring to find a way to link ADS compliled libraries with gcc based
projects. The problem is related to the EABI version of the elf files.

I get errors like this

/cygdrive/c/gccarm/bin/../lib/gcc-lib/arm-thumb-elf/3.2.2/crt
n.o is compiled for EABI version 0, whereas test.elf is compiled for version
2
File format not recognized: failed to merge target specific data of file
/cygdrive/c/gccarm/bin/../lib/gcc-lib/arm-thumb-elf/3.2.2/crtn.o
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

hunting around for a solution found this message relating to a patch for
EABI version problems.

does anyone know what became of this patch? Is it possible to link elfs with
different EABI versions or force gcc to produce EABI version 2?
