gcc 3.2.2 and RedHat 9 link error

Dear List:

I am trying to create a shared object library in RedHat 9 using gcc 3.2.2.
I am getting the error 

undefined versioned symbol name _ZdlPv@@GLIBCPP_3.2
ld: failed to set dynamic section sizes: Bad value

Anyone idea how to fix it?
