Hi I'm a Linux newbie I read some where that I should use --share option to generate a shared object (Windows DLL) with gcc, but instead of a ELF binary I'm obtaning a file with ".a" extention, this file contains all the ".o" file of my project. I'm using gcc 2.96 in a RedHAt Linux 7.3 Box. I'll apretiate any help! best regards Israel
