GNU Extensions for Hitachi SH7045F 32-bit MCU

I am working with Hitachi SH7045F MCU, programming in C using the GNU 
toolchain.

I want to write some inline assembly language functions which make use of 
'GNU Extensions'.  Where can one find good reference information on such GNU 
Extensions, which presumably define all the proper syntax etc for including 
assembly language code inline in C source.
