Solaris8 x86, g++ 2.95.3 and Exception handling

Hi,

I'm currently try to find out how to compile gcc-2.95.3 to be
hable to handle
exception from a shared library. I know that the question is
recurrent but I could
not found any answer that correct the problem.

I've compiled gcc-2.95.3 :

/var/build/src/gcc-2.95.3		-- The source tree
/var/build/build/gcc-2.95.3		-- the build directory

../../src/gcc-2.95.3/configure --enable-threads=posix
					  --enable-shared
					  --with-gnu-
as=/usr/local/bin/as
					  --with-gnu-
ld=/usr/local/bin/ld
					  --prefix=/opt/gcc-
2.95.3
					  --enable-languages=c++

On Solaris8 (x86), my program do not catch exception thrown
from a shared
library but do on a linux (rh7.2) box (gcc was built on both
system with
almost the same configure command (no --with-gnu* stuff on
linux and
--enable-threads instead of --enable-threads=posix))

Is there something special for compiling gcc-2.95.3 on Solaris8
x86 to
enable exception handling ?
