status of Windows CE support?

Hello,
my attempt to build a toolchain for the arm-wince-pe target failed.
Building binutil-2.12.1 was ok.
Building a boostrap gcc-3.1 failed at the same error as the one 
mentionned in 
http://www.geocrawler.com/mail/thread.php3?subject=Error+making+gcc+compiler&list=357

The question is : is arm-wince-pe not supported anymore? or is it a 
(binutil or gcc) configuration error?

I believe that Redhat should at least still work on a XScale port, isn't-it?
