GUI based gdb...

There are numerous front ends for gdb. You could start by checking out
xxgdb, which can be found here:

ftp://ftp.x.org/contrib/utilities/xxgdb-1.12.tar.gz

Personally, I prefer DDD. To get an idea of what's available, have a look
here:
