cross compiling glibc + gcc3.0.2

I have been supplied a cross compiler that is 3.0.2 compliant.  I need to 
cross compile glibc2.2.* but i get a warning saying that i can not do it.  
When will glibc be compliant with gcc3.0.2 or can i build it anyway?
