	Hmmm. I used Sunpro 5.2, binutils 2.11.2 and the following configure
statement:

/build/gcc/gcc-3.1/configure --prefix=/build/gcc/install --enable-shared
--enable-languages=c,c++ --enable-threads=posix --enable-long-long

	After that, I did the normal 'make' and 'make install'. I'm certain
that the cause of any problems I had was trying to build or install into
tmpfs. After I discovered that, the build went fine.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.
