failed to build a cross compiler for MIPS

  I want to build a cross gcc for MIPS, and my OS is RedHat 7.2. I use the 
--target=mips-coff to configure and then make the gcc. But there is a error 
that can not find "a.out.h". What should I do? Thanks!
